As the Space Shuttle program comes to a close, the Last Space Shuttle Project was created in order to document the retirement of each of the shuttles, which have been flying for more than 30 years. Using 3D and time-lapse photography, the shuttle documentation will be displayed in museums, educational settings and various outlets through out the world.

The Last Shuttle Team consists of a group of twelve professional photographers and cinematographers who are doing the work under the auspices of Lightspeed Media, LLC.

Three Chicago - area members of the team will be attending DucKon:

DENNIS BIELA - CREATOR, PRESIDENT and CEO of Lightspeed Media. Dennis is a photographer and digital documentarist for both still and motion imagery. His client list includes: Mercedes-Benz, Jaguar, BMW, General Motors, Eastman Kodak, EAA, Cessna, Apple computers, Smithsonian Institution, Michelin Tires N.A., Air & Space magazine, and many more.

CATHY BRINKWORTH - PROJECT COORDINATOR. Cathy attended Drake University. She served as project manager on various advertising and marketing projects coordinating the work of independent photographers, writers, artists and print specialists.

JEFFREY ROSS - PHOTOGRAPHER, CINEMATOGRAPHER. Jeffrey Ross is a commercial photographer, born and raised in Cocoa Beach, Florida. With his father working at the Kennedy Space Center he grew up watching the shuttle program from the very beginning, His work has published in countless magazines, advertisements, annual reports, and personal collections. He has been a mentor and guest speaker at various photography programs, and has lectured at the national Self-Employment In-the Arts conference.
