Margaret Weis, divorced, remarried, has two children, David and Elizabeth Baldwin. Son David is creator of the Darkheart series and lives in Key West, Florida. Daughter Lizz is book editor with Wizards of the Coast. Ms Weis (now also Mrs. Don Perrin) lives in a converted barn in the Lake Geneva, Wisconsin area. The household also includes two collie dogs Laddie and Kelly, a black lab/retriever mix, Sasha, and three cats: Nicolai Mouseslayer; Motley Tatters; Shiva, Destroyer of Nations. Weis and husband Don are co-owners of the Game Guild, a game store located in beautiful downtown Lake Geneva.
